In Person at Schack Art Center
2921 Hoyt Ave, Everett, WA 98201-4086

Northwest Designer Craftartists presents a survey of contemporary and traditional craft in America today created by members of NWDC and invited guest artists. All NWDC members are welcome to submit work to be selected by two esteemed jurors: Carol Sauvion, the Executive Director of the non-profit organization Craft in America and Sarah Traver, Director of Traver Gallery, Seattle.

This exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate excellence in craft and design, and to compare and contrast current and continuing trends in craftmaking. It promises to be a seminal exhibition marking today’s trends and tomorrow’s imaginings, bringing world-class craft artists to Washington. This is an opportunity for the public to learn and be inspired by the rich community of craft artists in the Northwest and across the country.

Masterclasses and demonstrations will be presented by Rachel Brumer (Fibers), John deWit (Glass), Mark Ditzler (Glass), Jane Pellicciotto (Polymer Clay), George Rodriguez (Ceramics), and Lisa Telford (Basketry).
